Shot time is probably one of the worst times for all of us. We know that we have to do the shots and I am grateful that the medicine is available, but I still dread that moment every other night when I have to do it. Although I don't think we will ever look forward to it there are some things to do to try to make it more pleasant. First decorate a basket or but a pretty gift bag for your supplies. A pretty container may help with the mind set, also light a fragrant candle or put on some soothing music to help relax. I also put a treat in the bag for afterward I usually keep a bag of caramel nips (my favorite hard candy) so that if I am a big girl I can get a treat, just like my kids when they get a sucker at the pediatrician's office. Stacy I take Betaseron every other night, 2 yrs now, and I I always, always, always pre-pour my medications into those plastic weekly pill containers. that way i know for sure that i have taken the medication, i never miss a does or even worse take a second dose. i also have some one else that is familiar with my meds to double check it for me. ````` |
