MS MOMS is hosting a Feast to raise funds for MS MOMS on December 5th, 2009.

Ok, here it is. The Official Invitation to “It’s a Renaissance Christmas”
The location is going to be Charles Howard Park in Ione. Those of you who have attended the Pumpkin Games will recognize the site. The full address is 600 S. Church St., Ione, Ca 95640. The Feast is scheduled for December 5th, 2009.
Dinner will be served around 6 Pm. The site will be open from 8 Am.
The fee for attending is going to be $10 a head. For your donation to MS MOMS you will receive a full Christmas dinner. We will be serving Turkey, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Fresh Vegetables, and Bread. Dinner will be prepared by the Illustrious Prison Chef Mark Reed as well as our favorite renaissance cook Barb. If you would like to bring a side dish, please feel free to do so.
MS MOMS will not be serving alcohol.
Dinner will be served by the plate. We will have paper plates and plastic silverware. We would appreciate it if any one that comes brings their dining ware. It will add to the ambiance if we have plates, bowls, cups, platters, table cloths, candle holders, candelabras, and anything else to decorate the tables.
As you arrive at the event we will have a Christmas Tree setup near the entrance. Please feel free to bring an ornament to decorate the tree. We will have generic ornaments that you can write your name on as well.
For entertainment during the Feast we are looking for people to donate their time to MS MOMS. In return for your performance MS MOMS will write you a receipt for the full value of your performance. We are looking for Bards, Singers, Magic Acts, and any other entertainers.
MS MOMS will be hosting two poker tournaments in the side room. The first tournament will begin at 2 Pm. The second tournament will begin at approximately 8 Pm, or after dinner, whichever is later. More details about the tournament will be available at the event.
MS MOMS is hosting a Whiskey Tasting Tournament. There will be 5 types of Whiskey. The first contest will be to identify the brand of Whiskey by the shape and color of the bottle. The second contest will be to identify the brand of Whiskey by the taste of the whiskey.
MS MOMS will be holding a Raffle. Each ticket is $2. The prizes for the raffle include 2 free dinners at the Jackson Rancheria casino, coupons for buy one get one free sushi rolls from Ninja Sushi in Rancho Cordova and a hand crafted leather mask. Other prizes may be revealed at the feast.
We have 10 vendors that will have their wears available in the main room.
In addition to a DJ for the dance floor, we also have the stilt walking juggler who has volunteered his time to entertain the guests.
We have reserved the site for Saturday only, however, there is camping allowed in the park. There are spaces for RV camping as well. There are no hookups for the RVs.
Camping is $5 for a regular campsite or $10 for an RV camp site.
