Free Books for the Homebound
MS MOMS understands that most people with disabilities, at some point in their life, find themselves homebound with little or nothing to occupy their time. In an effort to improve the lives of the disabled, their caretakers, and their families we are giving away books that we believe would provide entertainment.
At this time MS MOMS is not able to offer these books at no cost. We do not yet receive enough donations to compensate us for the cost of shipping and handling. Therefore we do have to ask that those requesting books cover shipping & handling. The cost of shipping and handling is calculated by weight, you can find a table below with the cost.
~ 1 Lbs or less for $3.00
~ 2 Lbs or less for $3.25
~ 3 Lbs or less for $3.50
~ 4 Lbs or less for $4.00
~ 5 Lbs or less for $4.50
~ 10 Lbs or less for $7.00
To ensure that we are able to help as many families as possible we ask that no family requests more than 5 books at any one time.
All of the books that we give away have been checked for readability. While the books may have some cosmetic damage they are still readable. Consult the image of each book for more details concerning their condition.
