                          Welcome to MS MOMS!

The emphasis of MS MOMS is to:
ü  Learn: Educate others about long term disabilities via down-to-earth information, not medical jargon. Teach members how to advocate for themselves and become empowered.

ü  Laugh: Find the humor of the situation. Laughter, with a dash of sass and sarcasm, is good medicine.

ü  LIVE: MS MOMS is about living NOW! We are about moving past presumed roles as a patient such as feeling your doctor is a God with whom you cannot disagree. We also are not waiting for a cure we're living NOW!!

"Get moving, get laughing, and get your groove back!" Lorna Moorhead author & founder.

Trent's Bookworm has donated most of our books for the homebound (or just interminably bored.) They have given us a huge selection of romance, do-it-yourself, self-help, textbooks, mysteries, sci-fi, and last but not least crafting!! If you would like to try your hand at ordering some FREE (okay the fine print is you pay shipping by weight because we cannot afford completely free shipping yet.)books to have at home, when you're down or to have because you simply don't get out that much anymore,
                          try our book program.

A big THANK YOU goes out to Trent and the others at Bookworm who are making this service for the disabled possible.
(Please keep them in your thoughts!)
